Sojourn, Xena Moonspear

Sojourn (born Xena Moonspear) is a Tiefling girl of 16 who, after the heroic intervention of her two now-adventuring companions, Sojourn helped lay the mystery of her mother's death to rest. After closing the book on that mystery, she (then aged eleven) accompanied Krankenrandt, the Goliath bard, and Adrafina, the Kobold sorcerer south, away from her alpine home village of Thistle.

Waiting for the right time, place, or people to take her in for a more permanent home, it wasn't until the trio stopped in Peilie, a small Friendlyfolk town in the midst of Kingswood Heart forest that she found her place: a temple dedicated to Selûne. Her mother Makaria was the only Tiefling (other than Xena) in Thistle, and the two of them together ran the much smaller temple dedicated to the lady of travellers, traders, and good lycanthropes. Being accepted into the Peilian temple was almost like coming home. Almost.
